After Kandinsky
GP Studio, London, UK, 2012

Site- specific installation 'After Kandinsky' celebrates the artist's expression of synaesthesia where his love of music and the physical sensation arising from this experience is represented in line, form, shape and colour. This installation re-imagines his 2-D painting as a 3-D collage, in which the tone, hue, pitch and volume of Kandinsky's work are represented in an assortment of textures and materials that work to create a harmonious whole.

In this installation we showcase a selection of our shape-memory, luminescent and sensory pieces to create a vibrant collage of textures and up-cycled materials.
